M	Marina Parini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meravigliosa villa visitabile con i volontari del F.A.I. prenotando su internet nelle giornate aperte. La visita dura 45 minuti e comprende il vasto parco con fontana e anfiteatro e le stanze del primo piano con la limonaia. Costruita nei primi anni del 1900 in stile neomedioevale dall'architetto Fenoglio con pietra vicentina. Gli interni sono arredati e riccamente decorati soprattutto da Achille Beltrame. La villa era di proprietà di Magno Magni e successivamente della famiglia Rizzoli che la utilizzavano come residenza estiva. Fu posta sotto sequestro nel 1983 per incuria e nel 1990 i nuovi proprietari hanno restaurato le stanze e ristrutturato le parti danneggiate. Attualmente viene utilizzata per eventi e ricevimenti. Merita assolutamente una visita. Wonderful villa that can be visited with the volunteers of the F.A.I. by booking on the internet on open days. The visit lasts 45 minutes and includes the vast park with fountain and amphitheater and the rooms on the first floor with the lemon house. Built in the early 1900s in neo-medieval style by the architect Fenoglio with Vicenza stone. The interiors are furnished and richly decorated especially by Achille Beltrame. The villa was owned by Magno Magni and later by the Rizzoli family who used it as a summer residence. It was seized in 1983 for negligence and in 1990 the new owners restored the rooms and renovated the damaged parts. It is currently used for events and receptions. Absolutely worth a visit.

Visited on the occasion of the Fai autumn days, beautiful. Prestigious venue for weddings and gala dinners, it has fully deserved this visit.

Camere non visitabili. NB.L' indicazione con Google maps non è precisa perché invia a un vicolo chiuso. Nice visit on FAI days in Grimello di Canzo. Various rooms furnished and available for events, wedding receptions, etc. Rooms not open to visitors. NB The indication with Google maps is not accurate because it sends to a closed alley.
V	Vincenzo Cristiano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La villa fu costruita in tre anni su commissione di Magno Magni, dal 1903 a 1906 in stile neogotico. Le decorazioni pittoriche furono eseguite da Achille Beltrame, noto disegnatore dell'epoca delle copertine della Domenica del Corriere. Nel 1928 altre stanze furono decorate dal pittore milanese Silvio Bicchi. Alla morte del proprietario, la villa fu acquistata dai Rizzoli, nota famiglia dell'editoria italiana. L'attuale proprietario ha completamente ristrutturato l'edificio adibendolo poi ad uso eventi e matrimoni. La villa è visitabile a cura del FAI con volontari molto preparati.

R	R Nesan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was here for a wedding in September 2016. Very beautiful scenery at the back of the property. Great for big gatherings, weddings etc. There were about 250 guests at this wedding and the place was big enough to accommodate all with drinks and canapes in the very big garden and then dinner on the first floor. As with many big old properties, this place is not maintained to the highest standards--finance must be an issue. Some parts of the interior are looking tired and the windows appear rather weak and brittle. The exterior could also do with some tarting up. There doesn't appear to be any AC in this place as on the day the temperature outside was 30C and even at 10pm it was still about 26C and it was rather hot and sweaty inside. There is parking space for about 40 cars but getting a coach inside the estate needs nifty manoeuvring through the narrow gates.
