★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't praise the food and service at Albergo Sala enough. My 83 year old mother and I have been staying at an apartment near Valbrona - and not wanting to drive the twisty narrow roads after dark (and possibly a glass or two of wine) we asked our host for a suggestion for restaurant and taxi. What we got was the proprietor Lorenzo himself coming to pick us up and drop us home every evening for 4 nights. The food also was lovely - archetypal Italian fare, deceptively simple, but simply delicious. There are a small number of choices - but everything was wonderfully tasty. All the people involved are just delightful, and I'm sorry I couldn't eat there every night forever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful hotel with the friendliest staff. They run the place and the restaurant and helped me with everything. They helped me iron my clothes, provided me with a delicious meal, and helped me check out ASAP. Can't thank them enough. Just a warning they lock the place down for the night, so if you have to leave early you need to let them know

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good clean basic accommodation situated 20 minutes drive from the lake, with comfortable bed.
The food in the evening was freshly prepared & good sized portions.
Breakfast was basic, but all fresh breads & good freshly made coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi, I recently stayed at this Boutique hotel in this beautiful part of italy. The room was full of character and very comfortable. The food was good and the beers were cold.... Very important to an Australian!! ... the staff very great and I could recommend it to any level of tourist
