V	Valeria Barbaro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Splendida residenza eoliana, immersa tra il verde "salineo" ed il mare tutto blu. Ti affacci e sotto di te c'è il porticciolo punteggiato di barche a vela, che la notte ti accompagnano con il suono degli alberi maestri che danzanoe giocano tra loro, e la maestosa Lipari di fronte. Ti accorgi che il tempo passa solo perchè senti l'arrivo della nave di sera e la partenza dell'aliscafo la mattina. Stanze bianche e celesti con letti in muratura, pale a soffitto sempre accese, patio luogo di incontro tra ospiti e famiglie col tavolo allestito per la colazione curate e saporite grazie alla torta di Valeria, il cui profumo già dal pomeriggio comincia a stuzzicarti. Al mattino per chi vuole Valeria fa Yoga, il pomeriggio massaggi e a volte lezioni di tango di Pasquale. Dunque per relax il B&B di Barbaro è il "must" tre le generazioni che si incontrano e che collaborano con passione, entusiasmo ed allegria ad accoglierci, i nonni Madam Annamaria e Re Alfredo sempre presenti con simpatia, i figli ed ora i giovani nipoti che emozionano la vita della villa. Se c'è una festa di famiglia siete tutti invitati e potete vivere con allegria il calore della famiglia. Dunque benvenuti a Salina...benvenuto ancora di più a VILLA BARBARO Splendid Aeolian residence, surrounded by the green "saline" and the blue sea. You look out and below you there is the small port dotted with sailboats, which at night accompany you with the sound of the masts dancing and playing with each other, and the majestic Lipari opposite. You realize that time passes only because you hear the arrival of the ship in the evening and the departure of the hydrofoil in the morning. White and light blue rooms with built-in beds, ceiling fans always on, patio, a meeting place for guests and families with a table set up for breakfast, prepared and tasty thanks to Valeria's cake, whose scent begins to tease you in the afternoon. In the morning for those who want Valeria to do Yoga, in the afternoon massages and sometimes Pasquale's tango lessons. So for relaxation, the B&B di Barbaro is the "must" three generations who meet and collaborate with passion, enthusiasm and joy to welcome us, the grandparents Madam Annamaria and Re Alfredo always present with sympathy, the children and now the young grandchildren who excite the life of the villa. Stanza confortevole e spazi comuni ampi panoramici che stimolano una sana convivialità grazie anche all'ospitalità e disponibilità della famiglia che gestisce il b&b e dei collaboratori. Ottimi i consigli per i luoghi da visitare e come raggiungerli. Esperienza da ripetere. Enchanting location! Cozy and relaxing environment. Comfortable room and large panoramic common areas that stimulate a healthy conviviality thanks to the hospitality and availability of the family that runs the b & b and of the collaborators. Excellent advice for places to visit and how to reach them. Experience to be repeated.

Camere ampie e ben arredate. Di gusto semplice ma di effetto. E’ una gestione familiare, e la simpatia dei proprietari, unita alla professionalità rendono gradevole e sereno il soggiorno nella struttura. E’ una delle location più belle di Santa Marina di salina. Valeria, una dei proprietari, e’ sempre disponibile e pronta a fornire utili informazioni locali e suggerimenti su come meglio trascorrere il soggiorno a salina e dintorni. Proporrei di includere la possibilità di mezza pensione, con pranzo o cena, fidandomi del gusto e della cucina della signora Anna e di sua sorella. Ci torneremo. The b & b and 'a beautiful Aeolian villa located in the most strategic and center of the island, overlooking the port, and within walking distance from the center. Large and well furnished rooms. Simple taste but effective. They 'a family business, and the friendliness of the owners, combined with the professionalism make this a pleasant and serene stay in the structure. It is one of the most beautiful locations in Santa Marina di Salina. Valeria, one of the owners, and 'always available and ready to provide useful local information and suggestions on how best to enjoy your stay as saline and surroundings. I would propose to include the possibility of half board with lunch or dinner, trusting of taste and the kitchen of Mrs. Anna and her sister. We will be back.
l	luca braglia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disonesti, maleducati e non professionali. Il 26/07 prenoto in questa struttura tramite Booking per 4 notti (dal 12/08 al 16/08). Il 01/08 la struttura mi comunica di aggiornare il metodo di pagamento perché ci sono problemi con la mia carta di credito. Inserisco altre 2 carte di credito, chiamo la struttura per avere conferma della prenotazione e dicono che non ci sono problemi. Il 9/08 la struttura cancella la mia prenotazione dicendo che la mia carta di credito non e’ valida. (Scusa del tutto falsa visto che successivamente la carta e’ stata usata per altre prenotazioni). Richiamo la struttura e mi ribadiscono il problema con la mia carta. Provo a ribattere, ma mi sbattono giù il telefono per poi ‘stranamente’ non rispondere più ad ogni mia chiamata. Il sospetto e’ che la struttura abbia effettuato un overbooking e che all’ultimo si sia ritrovata a dover cancellare una prenotazione. Trovo da MALEDUCATI il fatto che questa cancellazione sia stata fatta a 4 giorni dalla data del check in, piuttosto che al giorno della prenotazione. Anche perché ad oggi mi ritrovo con le prenotazioni per l’auto e il gommone…..peccato che sull’isola di Salina non ci sono più camere/strutture disponibili. Do una stella solo perché non se ne possono dare zero. Dishonest, rude and unprofessional. On 26/07 I book in this structure through Booking for 4 nights (from 12/08 to 16/08). On 01/08 the property informs me to update the payment method because there are problems with my credit card. I insert 2 more credit cards, call the hotel to confirm the reservation and they say there are no problems. On 9/08 the hotel cancels my reservation saying that my credit card is not valid. (This is completely false since the card was subsequently used for other bookings). I recall the structure and they reiterate the problem with my card. I try to reply, but they slam the phone down and then 'strangely' no longer answer my every call. The suspicion is that the structure has overbooked and that the latter found itself having to cancel a reservation. I find it RUDE that this cancellation was made 4 days from the check in date, rather than the day of booking. Also because today I find myself with reservations for the car and the dinghy ..... it's a pity that on the island of Salina there are no more rooms / facilities available. I give a star only because it cannot be given zero.
