Bella ferrata! Caldamente consigliate scarpe tecniche alte e tanta acqua!
Beautiful via ferrata! It is not entry level but not too demanding for those who are familiar with via ferratas. Funny because it lends itself not to use the cable to go up. Spectacular summit panorama overlooking the Dolomites. The return to the scree instead is ugly and poorly marked. Highly technical shoes and lots of water are highly recommended!

Via ferrata itself is okay and well developed, but there are more walking passages that are also relatively sporty. The climbing passages are relatively short. The descent when you take the signposted path in the direction of "fiames" is only over scree and gravel, which is really quite dangerous that it just goes down.

It is an easy-to-medium difficulty via ferrata, which climbs with a logical route for wide ledges, overcoming exposed but well-equipped stretches. Despite the relative proximity to the town of Cortina, the significant difference in altitude requires good training. The time required to reach the attack is 1.15 hours, the duration of the ferrata is about 2 hours and the descent (along a gully) is 2 hours, for a total of 5 hours of tour. Wonderful view on Cortina.

Bella via ferrata x raggiungere Punta Fiames...
Beautiful via ferrata to reach Punta Fiames ... Satisfying from a physical and visual point of view .... The Cortina Alpine guides classify it as moderately difficult, in fact I don't recommend it to those who want to take a via ferrata as first time .. - Need for absence of dizziness, sure footstep and appropriate footwear, as well as harness and via ferrata kit. The departure is from Fiames in front of the Fiames hotel, the path is steep enough to reach the attack. Beautiful view of the surrounding peaks and the Ampezzo valley.

L’esperienza complessiva rimane comunque veramente gradevole.
The via ferrata in question is the medium level and allows you to climb in serenity. The most demanding sections are however well guided. Starting from the valley you arrive at the via ferrata after a trek of about 400 m in altitude. The descent is much less scenic than the ascent as you take a breathtaking path. However, the overall experience remains truly enjoyable.

A very nice day out in the mountains. Not particularly difficult to climb but nice route with an abundance of natural steps and grips, no need to use the rope at all to get up. The sliding down in the couloir on the other side is a lot of fun too though this part can be tough for someone who wants to actually walk down step by step. Despite heavy rain all night the entire climb was dry when went up around 11am. So this can be a good ferrata at times with not so perfect weather.

Definitely worth it! It's quite hard, specially the part where you hike towards the start if the ferrata (approx 400m altitude). But then... just wow. Another 600m on the ferrata. The views are spectacular. Totally recommend it

The views are spectacular. It is a shorter via ferrata, but it can still take you 7+ hours if you take a lot of pictures and have a break at lunch. The climb was a bit more difficult than I expected based on the reviews.
