Very nice path with lots of trees between Cannero and Canobio but very steep and rocky. Surefootedness is required!

Con alcune soste-riposo e fotografiche, io(con bambino di 9 anni) ci ho impiegato circa 3 ore.
Da farsi sicuramente con scarpe da ginnastica, ma meglio se da trekking.
Attenzione: munirsi di una riserva di acqua adeguata!
From Cannero to Cannobio about 7 km of path immersed in nature, with beautiful views and meeting enchanting villages lost in history ...
With some rest stops and photographs, I (with a 9 year old child) took about 3 hours.
Definitely to be done with sneakers, but better if for trekking.
Attention: have an adequate water supply!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tra le Vie Storiche del VCO è forse la più panoramica perché è spesso affacciata sul Lago Maggiore nei 31 km. che portano da Intra al confine di San Bartolomeo.
Ma oltre ai panorami sono da apprezzare anche le borgate che si attraversano ricche di punti di interesse.
Una parte del tracciato utilizza vecchie mulattiere ancora ben conservate oppure risistemate. Buona è anche la segnaletica.
