★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s been almost 4 years since we called into this simple bakery for no other reason than a roast vegetable sandwich which caught our eye. But we still talk of the best sandwiches and pastries we have ever tasted.
Maybe it was just being in Florence that made it taste so good. Or maybe it just was that good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great croissants! Best we had here so far. I got the pistachio and wife got the apricot. Both very good and not too sweet. Get a napkin, you're fingers might get sticky!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All around excellent pastries. I don't think you can make a bad choice here when it comes to sweets.
The pizza is good but definitely made in the morning so if you're having lunch it will have been sitting there for a little while. Prices are reasonable and there are a few seats inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be honest I have no idea what I ate. Everything was in Italian and the employees didn’t speak English (I’m in Italy so it’s expected) so I just pointed and we were good. The sandwich is really good and really cheap. I got 2 of what’s in the photo for €4.50 Would go again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came across this small place while we are walking home from school taking a different route. I had this patate e funghi bread (potato and mushrooms) which was so delicious despite being so simple. The bread was good too, tasty and I liked the texture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was close to our hotel so almost every day we stopped to pick up a sandwich and a cookie for a light lunch. We tried eating at other places but here we probably had the best sandwiches and pastries.
The lady is so nice and explained about the different sandwiches and other pastries, and she cut every sandwich in half so we could share.
One of our favorite was the sandwich in the dark focaccia (which was AMAZING!!) with roasted zucchini and cheese. WOW!! Who knew that two ingredients can make a sandwich this great. We also liked the focaccia bread with the prosciutto and the cheese. Classic but excellent!!
We couldn't leave without something sweet, so we took "Tortina della Nonna" and a nougat type of cookie with chocolate and hazelnut. The nougat was great and the hazelnuts had such a robust flavor. The "Tortina" is a cookie with a classic pastry cream on it, covered with a layer of butter cookies, that just melts in your mouth. Highly recommended!!!
The price was €15 for everything, which I think was a great value for our money.
Definitely check this place out. I know I will come back.

The staff is the kindest and the taste of the food is just amazing ? also the prices are very affordable $ so you can enjoy a big variety of food. I recommend the vanilla cornetta and the turta di frutti ?
