We stumbled upon this restaurant while wondering around Florence. We tried one of the set menus. The portions were quite big and we weren't definitely were happy with the pici (pasta) plate and the famous bistecca Fiorentina. The service was great at this family run restaurant. Highly recommend a visit!

Lovely little place. Food was flawless. Wine recommendation was great. All empty plates on our table. Quiet upon opening but packed by 8:30-9pm. One comment I can't not make would be that there were quite a lot of little flies around. Personally I didn't care, however it appeared to irritate other members of our table. Also think they could have done with another person working the floor a bit sooner. At least when we left a second waiter had materialised. The young lady serving was doing an excellent job and never skipped a beat but as the place filled up she wasn't able to keep up the excellent standards we had enjoyed when we had arrived. I run restaurants, this was not her skill, it was understaffing. It made the difference that she was free to be so attentive at the start of the evening.

Our server Alex was amazing. It was a smaller restaurant but the food and staff were so great it was definitely an experience to remember.

Everything we ate and drank was well prepared and with good quality material, I really enjoyed my Ossobuco alla Fiorentina an I recommend it 100% , the Tiramisu was so fresh which is rare to find in the restaurants, the staff is super nice and available

Amazing food! I had their Riboletta soup with beans and potatoes (all vegan) and then the people I was with had the classic florentine steak and they loved it!

I have lived in Florence for three months now and this is by far my absolute favorite restaurant. I have tried so many different items from their menu and I have never been disappointed. Even simply dishes like caprese were outstanding. The tomato’s were so fresh and flavorful and the mozzarella was so creamy and fresh as well. Their is the also most adorable and kind young waitress named Ella. I have had her every single time that I have been and she truly has made my experience their unforgettable!! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Ella as your server!! :)))

This small restaurant was a real find. We hadn't eaten all day and went for a late lunch. We started with a sampler appetizer that Alex had made just for us. It had all sorts of wonderful food on it -- chicken liver paste, tomato on crostini, cannellini crostini, thin slices of prosciutto and sausage, peccorino cheese, etc. We also got the asparagus flan, which was delicious. My husband and I got the filets with gorgonzola and walnuts (fantastic!!). I got a side of spinach, which was great. My husband got a salad. How does lettuce taste that good!!! One daughter got taglioni and porcini. The other daughter got gnocchi with gorgonzola and pear. The house chianti was very good, too. Service was excellent, but we came between lunch and dinner so were the only patrons. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. I highly recommend!

This was such a wonderful place to enjoy a traditional Florentine Steak. The owners and staff were so pleasant and felt like family. We opted for the β€œregular” way of enjoying an Italian Meal!! With a first a second etc. The appetizers of meat and cheese and breads were delicious…. The spaghetti was Ragu with a nice portion of meat sauce and fresh home made noodles…. While the entree of 1 kg or just over 2 pounds of aged T-Bone steak was so tender and filled with flavor…. You just did not want the evening to end. Paired with Chianti and a generous dessert of tiramisu made for a wonderful evening of just flavors you can only get in this part of the world. As much as I try to replicate at home on my own grill!! This was wonderful. Alex and Alissa were such helpful hosts and will make your dining experience the best!!
