★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alle großen Designer haben in Florenz ihre Boutiquen. Nettes Personal begrüßt einen schon an der Tür. Manchmal wird man freundlich gebeten entweder in einigen Minuten wieder zu kommen oder im klimatisierten Laden kurz zu warten, bis eine Verkäuferin frei ist.
Nicht so bei Valentino... da bleibt die Tür zu. Drinnen steht ein grimmiger Türsteher und zeigt einem durch die geschlossene Tür die ausgestreckte Handfläche. Mehr nicht. Unverschämt. Der Mann gehört entlassen und ist geschäftsschädigend. Wir sind gegangen...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love Valentino and I purchased a bag here on 21 Sep. The entire process was smooth and the sales lady prepared the tax refund documents efficiently. However, I thought that the service was not great. I felt she was more attentive to other customers, even cutting our conversation off abruptly to greet and serve another customer. At one point she was also slightly sarcastic and rolled her eyes but laughed it off as a joke. I hate to say this but I think I was at the receiving end of racism. I'm ethnically Chinese but a born and bred Singaporean. In multi-racial Singapore this would not have happened. Other than this, my experience in Italy was great and my experience at Ferragamo next door was great too! (I purchased a card wallet there) Hence the three stars. Regardless, I love my newly purchased rockstud bag!
