★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oggi ho avuto occasione di visitare questa meravigliosa biblioteca in occasione della mostra Facce di Marmo....bellissima esperienza....ma la cosa che mi ha fatto più apprezzare la mostra è stata la guida....una persona veramente preparata, colta, paziente, educata e con un entusiasmo a 'raccontare' se così si può dire la storia.....dei libri....mi auguro che non se la facciano scappare perché persone così ce ne sono ben poche....
Today I had the opportunity to visit this wonderful library on the occasion of the Marble Faces exhibition .... wonderful experience .... but the thing that made me appreciate the exhibition most was the guide .... a truly prepared person, cultured, patient, polite and with an enthusiasm to 'tell' if the story can be said like this ..... of the books .... I hope that they do not miss it because there are very few people like that ... .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sarebbe carino se l'orario riportato sul sito coincidesse con l'effettivo orario della biblioteca. Sono passata sabato mattina alle 9 e 30 e diversamente da quanto riportato nel sito il cancello della biblioteca era chiuso.
It would be nice if the time on the site coincided with the actual library hours. I passed Saturday morning at 9.30 and unlike what is reported on the site the gate of the library was closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci sono voluti molti anni per completare l'opera, ma finalmente, grazie all'intervento del Ministro della Cultura Franceschini, questa importante istituzione ha potuto insediarsi nella nuova sede. Sede bellissima: l'ex Hotel Columbia, perfettamente restaurato, molto confortevole e godibile

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È il classico posto che serve solo a sperperare fondi pubblici,deve essere costata un patrimonio allestirla e costa tanto mantenerla, i servizi che offre sono i peggiori che abbia mai visto in una biblioteca in Italia e ne conosco parecchie"faccio ricerca." Il personale fa di tutto per allontanare e disincentivare gli utenti,tipico atteggiamento fancazzista Italiano,non è un posto su cui contare.Chiuderla o cambiarne destinazione sarebbe un atto di retto governo cittadino.
It is the classic place that only serves to squander public funds, it must have cost a fortune to set up it and it costs so much to maintain it, the services it offers are the worst I've ever seen in a library in Italy and I know several "I do research." The staff does everything to remove and discourage users, a typical Italian fancazzista attitude, it is not a place to count on. Closing it or changing its destination would be an act of right city government.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È inconcepibile e vergognoso che in un capoluogo di regione, in una città che si atteggia a "città universitaria" la biblioteca Universitaria faccia un orario così ridotto. Chiudere alle 19.00?? Ci sono città in cui le biblioteche/aule studio stanno aperte fino a mezzanotte e oltre!! Per non parlare del weekend: chiusura sabato alle 13.00 e addio, ci si vede il lunedì! Soprattutto nei periodi di sessioni d'esame dovrebbe essere garantito sempre il servizio, tutti i giorni!
Inoltre per uno spazio così grande è disponibile una sola sala? Tra l'altro la stessa in cui sono pure i bibliotecari che non si fanno assolutamente alcun problema a parlare ad alta voce e tenere il cellulare con la suoneria!
Trovo altresì scandaloso che non ci siano prese disponibili per ogni tavolo.
Per non parlare dei bagni: non c'è mai la carta....
Questo è un servizio per gli studenti? Così dovremmo essere favoriti nello studio?
It is inconceivable and shameful that in a regional capital, in a city that poses itself as a "university city", the university library has such a reduced opening time. Close at 19.00 ?? There are cities where libraries / study rooms are open until midnight and beyond !! Not to mention the weekend: closing on Saturday at 13.00 and goodbye, see you on Monday! Especially during exam sessions, the service should always be guaranteed, every day!
Also for such a large space is there only one room available? Among other things, the same in which librarians are also who have absolutely no problem talking out loud and holding the cell phone with the ringtone!
I also find it scandalous that there are no outlets available for every table.
Not to mention the bathrooms: there is never paper ....
Is this a student service? So should we be favorites in the study?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima organizzazione con apertura al pubblico su 4 giorni. Chiusa il lunedì. Possibilità di consultare libri in sede e di accedere al prestito interbibliotecario. Vasto il materiale a scaffale aperto, per il resto consulta il catalogo e chiedi al bibliotecario. Sita nell'ex hotel Colombia, gode di un bel panorama a 360 gradi. Conserva le sale dei ristoranti sedi di mostre e la sala da ballo che contiene in dono il pianoforte a coda di Garaventa e una targa della visita dei Beatles a Genova ospiti di quell'hotel.
