★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're an Architect, Arch Student or in the Arts- do yourself a favor and drop in. Its a nice reprieve from the bustle of Venice and you get to see what the young minds are currently working on in the city. Don't forget that all the greats have come through these doors to get their education - the likes of Le Corbusier, Louis Kahn, Frank Lloyd Wright, Carlo Scarpa and Ando to name a few!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place to visit. Away from usual tourist spot. The gate is relatively new designed by a renounced architect who was the Dean of school of architecture.
The old gate it preserved as a landscape feature. About 200 years back venician students and teachers of the university broke the old gate to reclaim the university from priests.
A wonderful architecture blended with old and new.
