★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommended for people with a disability, we had reserved a number of vespas via telephone, when asked for our experience we said we had all except one of us (who was going to ride along with an experienced person) at least driven a moped once before. This wasnt an issue, however when we arrived we were told it would be too much of a risk for us to drive because we didnt have multiple full days of driving experience.
We witnessed multiple other people who had in some cases less experience than us be allowed to drive off without issue.
We are left to guess precisely why we werent allowed to drive, but an educated guess would be that the manager saw that my father in law walks with a cane or a double booking.
As compensation for us driving out there for an hour and a half the manager offered to help us find some nice places to visit by car.
Then had us wait for an hour to give us a leaflet with some information about the area surrounding lake triasmene, which we could have easily found on google.
We did not appreciate this at all and prefer that you are honest about it if you double booked us, or if you prefer to not let people with a minor disability drive your vespas.
For the sake of clarity the person with the disability has driven a vespa before, without any problems.
As a reccomendation to the management, mention it on your website or via telephone that you dont like people with disabilities riding your vespas if this is indeed the case.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Vespa Scooter and Ape mini car rental!! They have Vespas in all speeds and even Ape Calessino :). Other rentals just give you red scooters but here you speed around Umbria in unique colors and textures. On top of that you can park your car here for multiple days for free at a lovely location at the lake. But best: Claudia and Marco are so helpful and friendly that you will come back every time destiny sends you to Umbria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A group of 8 of us wanted the authentic Italian touring experience and thought that a Vespa would be the best way to see the beautiful countryside around Lago Trasimeno. We couldn't have had a better time. The bikes and the Calessino were first rate, all in great condition. As some of our group had only a little experience, Claudia gave us all plenty of time to get used to riding them before sending us off. The itinerary she suggested was excellent, including the lunch stop. Claudia and her team are very friendly and helpful. A real highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended! Umbria is a beautiful area to explore with a scooter. We ended up at umbriainvespa.com for the rental of our scooters. With driving license B (car driver's license) we rented 2x 125cc Vespa Primavera for two days. We were helped exceptionally well. Good Italian, English and German are spoken, contact through WhatsApp is also possible. Extensive time is taken for you and nothing is impossible. She had mapped out two beautiful routes for us (for both days) and also pointed out the (ugly) roads to avoid. As a result we drove continuously through the most beautiful parts and villages of the Lago Trasimeno region. If we are in Umbria again, we will definitely be back!
