★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Palazzuolo è stato dichiarato come 'uno fra i borghi più belli d'Italia'. È una perla dell'Appennino Toscano. Il fiume Senio che l'attraversa è limpido e ricco di pesce. La sua storia è antichissima. L'atmosfera di grande pace e serenità che vi si respira è come un magico toccasana. Personalmente non sono mai sazio di visitarlo e cerco di tornarci spesso. Il suo Comune e l'Associazione Turistica fanno un gran bel lavoro per promuovere questo territorio e sono molto, molto piacevoli le manifestazioni da loro organizzate in tutte le stagioni. Fra tutte segnalo i mercatini periodici, quelli di Natale, della raccolta delle castagne e dei marroni e quelle estive musicali. Vi suggerisco di visitare i loro siti istituzionali su internet. C'è sempre un buon motivo per tornare a respirare questa aria purissima e anche quando non c'è nulla di mondano... c'è la sua incomparabile serenità di borgo medievale incontaminato dove fermarsi ad ammirare tutt'intorno e provare quella splendida sensazione di rigenerazione fisico-spirituale.
Palazzuolo has been declared as 'one of the most beautiful villages in Italy'. It is a pearl of the Tuscan Apennines. The Senio river that runs through it is clear and rich in fish. Its history is very ancient. The atmosphere of great peace and serenity that you breathe is like a magical cure-all. Personally I am never satisfied to visit it and I try to go back often. Its Municipality and the Tourist Association do a great job to promote this area and the events organized by them in all seasons are very, very pleasant. Among all, I would like to point out the periodical markets, the Christmas markets, the chestnut and chestnut collection and the summer musical ones. I suggest you visit their institutional sites on the internet. There is always a good reason to return to breathe this pure air and even when there is nothing mundane ... there is its incomparable serenity of an unspoiled medieval village where you can stop to admire all around and experience that splendid sensation of physical-spiritual regeneration.
