rimessa a nuovo e ringiovanita, molto caratteristiche sono le macine a pietra vintage che purtroppo rubano molto spazio e sono ingombranti... la cucina è curata dal rinomato Chef Vincenzo Messina e quindi sinonimo di qualità e attenzione nei dettagli... Il posto merita e di sicuro non ne rimarrete delusi

refurbished and rejuvenated, very characteristic are the vintage stone grinders that unfortunately steal a lot of space and are bulky ... the kitchen is curated by the renowned Chef Vincenzo Messina and therefore synonymous with quality and attention to detail ... The place deserves and certainly you will not be disappointed

What to say! The restaurant you don't expect. Cozy place, excellent variety of courses, decent choice of wines and, last but not least, amazing desserts!

An unexpected surprise! Perfectly managed restaurant. Excellent dishes, both meat and fish! Large portions but with refined presentation. Very assorted cellar, fast and impeccable service. Location in line with the philosophy of the village. Excellent value for money.

We recently travelled from the USA to Militello to host a family reunion of 20+ relatives. U Trappitu restaurant was recommended because of its unique character. The restaurant is a converted oil producing mill, with original olive grinding wheels and vats. It is tastefully decorated to be historically reminiscent of an era gone by.
We were elated by Vincenzo, the proprietor, who did a phenomenal job of creating a multi-course menu of traditional Sicilian delicacies. The food was delicious, starting with the antipasto, to the appetizer, home-made pastas, meat dishes and home-made desert. The quantity of each course was well in abundance of what the attendees could eat. In dealing with Vincent, he was very accommodating, flexible and provided impeccable service. We highly recommend this restaurant.
