★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono quattro tombe a tumulo disposte a croce, molto ben conservate che testimoniano la presenza degli Etruschi nel Chianti senese. La visita è libera, basta accendere la luce a timer ed entrare direttamente nei tumuli.
 There are four tumulus tombs arranged in a cross, very well preserved that testify to the presence of the Etruscans in the Sienese Chianti. The visit is free, just turn on the timer light and go directly into the mounds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ vier bijzondere Etruskische graven. als je op de knop drukt gaat het licht aan. en moet je snel naar binnen om te kijken anders sta je in het donker (haha) en een mooi uitzicht over de stad

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una tomba etrusca nei pressi del centro di Castellina in Chianti indica chesil sito era abitato almeno dal VII-VI secolo avanti Cristo. Nel medioevo la zona diventa feudo dei nobili del Castello del Trebbio.
La tomba è di grandi dimensioni, con un diametro di oltre cinquanta metri, ed è costituita da quattro camere sepolcrali disposte secondo i punti cardinali: la disposizione secondo i punti cardinali, oltre che le sezioni delle camere ipogee e la forma del tumulo, hanno fatto supporre che il tumulo sia stata fonte d'ispirazione per il mausoleo di Leonardo da Vinci.
An Etruscan tomb near the center of Castellina in Chianti indicates that the site was inhabited at least from the 7th-6th century BC. In the Middle Ages the area became a fief of the nobles of the Trebbio Castle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Imponente monumento funebre etrusco che copriva 4 tombe a camera disposte secondo i punti cardinali.
L'accesso è libero e gratuito,quando si entra ricordarsi di accendere le luci temporizzate tramite un pulsante posto su una colonnina grigia situata subito all'ingresso dell'area.
Se ci si ferma a Castellina in Chianti consiglio la passeggiata in questo luogo per godere anche di una bella vista sulla città vecchia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono bellissime ma pesonalme sono lasciate andare dovrebbero essere messe in risalto e magari aggiunto una guida turistica robotica già vista in una altra zona valorizza e spiegherebbe la sua natura cosa è stato trovato ecc ecc visto che chi va lì è anche per capire perché è lì cosa serviva ecc. E un mio pensiero
They are beautiful but pesonalme they are let go they should be highlighted and maybe added a robotic tour guide already seen in another area enhances and explains its nature what has been found etc etc since who goes there is also to understand why it is there what needed etc. It is my thought
