Austrian trenches, perfectly reconstructed for teaching and demonstration purposes. Small but interesting place, for those who love history and places of history.
P	Pinuccio Sibella on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'altopiano di Lavarone é una localitá adatta per chi vuole trascorrere un periodo di vacanza in ambiente salubre, con la possibilitá di conoscere un po' di storia. Questa zona fu infatti teatro, nel primo conflitto mondiale, della cosiddetta " guerra dei forti" che vide austriaci e italiani fronteggiarsi per un periodo seppur limitato, usando le artiglierie dei rispettivi forti. Oltre ai forti stessi: Belvedere, Luserna etc sono presenti anche trincee ricostruite, casematte e cunicoli che si possono visitare. Queste di Luserna furono fatte costruire a forza dagli austriaci da donne e bambini, visto che i maschi adulti erano al fronte: una testimonianza in piú dell'orrore della guerra. Uso alle ricostruzioni sull Altopiano di Asiago, Malga Zebio per esempio, trovare una 50ina di metri di trincea, mi è sembrato poco. La foto di Google Map, mostra chiaramente le tracce di altre trincee, le quali potrebbero essere riportate alla luce e unite in un percorso piú ampio. Inoltre, se non studi prima G Maps, la segnaletica ti allunga il percorso. In ogni caso, andando a visitare il Forte, la visita è un MUST. View Sep 8 21.
