Un'esperienza tra i sapori del passato, "io" non ho gradito molto in quella giornata la pasta in brodo... ma è una questione di gusti. Lo consiglio e ci torneremo. Ottimo lo stinco di maiale.

Ottima cena ricca di sapori ....Francesco è un eccelente padrone di casa un intrattenitore che ti incanta con tutto il suo sapere sulle materie prime che utilizza per prepare ottimi piatti. Che dire che tutto ad un tratto intona una canzone popolare con qul strumento antico racchiuso nella sua vetrina !!..Stupendo.. Non vediamo l'ora di ritornare da Francesco. Bravo...

Dagli antipasti al dolce, ho cominciato dagli antipasti in cui c’erano tantissime cose e strano ma vero tutto molto buono! Poi ho preso la struncatura che “‘ntender non la puó chi no la prova”. A journey through the flavors of Calabria, all delicious! From appetizers to desserts, I started with appetizers in which there were many things and strange but true, all very good! Materie prime esclusivamente locali, molte delle quali prodotte nella fattoria di Ciccio, preparate secondo tradizione secolare/millenaria, ma con tecniche moderne e raffinatissime, frutto di approfonditi studi e competenze specifiche di elevatissimo livello, certificato e non millantato, internazionale. Durante la cena Ciccio intrattiene i propri ospiti elargendo, senza alcuna saccenza ma, anzi, con spontaneità e simpatia, cultura culinaria, e non solo, a piene mani. Per finire, esibizione musicale e canora di canti popolari molto gradevole. Il prezzo di tutto ciò? Vi stupirà senz'altro, ma in senso positivo! Anthropological cuisine, as defined by the chef / owner Ciccio, of sublime quality. Il Ricriju é un luogo dove la tradizione (quella centenaria) incontra la passione e ne esce fuori un qualcosa di unico. Tutto ciò che viene messo a tavola, é frutto del lavoro di Francesco che poi lo interpreta non a modo suo, ma come vuole la tradizione. Infine ci si imbatte anche nel folklore...lira calabrese, chitarra e si raccontano storie di briganti e dei tempi che furono. Francesco é un grande lavoratore, un cuoco eccellente e un simpatico intrattenitore. Sempre una garanzia. Ci si rivede l'anno prossimo U 'Ricriju is not a restaurant and Francesco does not offer food. Ricriju is a place where tradition (the centenary one) meets passion and something unique comes out of it. Non troverete cucina così buona e genuina come da loro.... per non parlare della simpatia e cordialità che Francesco e Gisella, hanno nell'anima, e la portano in tavola insieme alle loro specialità. ??❣ Not because we are cousins, I come down from the north when I can, but those who come regularly on vacation, those who live more or less nearby ..... GO TO THE RESTAURANT ... I tell you with my heart ❤. The owner didn't have enough time to explain dishes and their story, like in the previous experience. Maybe too much crowded now. Also not very good for kids, because the dinner can finish very late (and kids could not wait). Give it a try, but it's not anymore like it was. August 2020: Wonderful experience, Francesco is not only a chef, but also a great story teller. He knows everything about culture, history and food of this part of Calabria. He grows everything you eat at his restaurant, so you can be sure to eat great food with a great tradition in cooking. Just try it! Remember to book, because it's not open every day.
