Es ist einer dieser Orte, die alle Touristen ein Leben lang suchen, aber nie finden. Hier gibt es keine Speisekarte, das Restaurant ist im Keller versteckt und nur für Eingeweihte erkennbar und natürlich kocht die Mama selbst und die Familie assistiert. Ich war der einzige Gast und habe nichts erwartet. Am Ende war es das beste Menü, das ich in Italien bisher gegessen habe: Pasta mit Tomaten und Steinpilzen und Parmesan, Roastbeef mit Steinpilzen und Salat und zum Schluss einfachen frischen Landkuchen mit Schokoladensoße. Ein eiskaltes Bier und ein Espresso danach versteht sich von selbst. Die ganze Szenerie spielt sich in einem kleinen Bergdorf ab, in dem die Hälfte der Häuser leer zu stehen scheint und ein öffentlicher Busverkehr nicht wirklich touristisch nutzbar ist. Dafür gibt es aber ein frisch renoviertes Hotel am Markt, das genauso liebevoll ist. Und einen einzigartigen schönen Wanderweg, mit tollen Rastplätzen, Brunnen, Weinbergen und anderen kleinen Bergedorfern. Nicht erwähnt werden muss, dass jetzt hier das beste Steinpilzjahr aller Zeiten ist und die Pilze hier so knackfrisch und lecker serviert werden, wie dies in Sternerestaurants - die im Großmarkt einkaufen - gar nicht möglich ist.
It is one of those places that all tourists seek for a lifetime, but never find. There is no menu here, the restaurant is hidden in the cellar and can only be seen by the initiated, and of course the mum cooks and the family assist. I was the only guest and did not expect anything. In the end it was the best menu I have tasted in Italy so far: pasta with tomatoes and porcini mushrooms and parmesan, roast beef with porcini mushrooms and salad and finally a simple fresh country cake with chocolate sauce. An ice-cold beer and an espresso after that goes without saying. The whole scenery takes place in a small mountain village, where half of the houses seem to be empty and a public bus service is not really usable for tourists. But there is a newly renovated hotel on the market, which is just as lovely. And a unique beautiful hiking trail, with great rest areas, fountains, vineyards and other small mountain villages. It does not have to be mentioned that this is the best porcini mushroom year of all time here and the mushrooms are served as fresh and tasty as the star restaurants - which you can buy at the wholesale market - are not possible.

Tutto molto buono. Servizio ottimo e gente molto cordiale. Il tutto in un posto molto caratteristico e con un panorama mozzafiato Super consigliato. Ci ritornerò sicuramente.

A place that makes you feel immediately at home, in the true sense of the word. The care, passion and sense of hospitality of the owners are magnificent. The quality and goodness of the food too. To go there absolutely!

There is no menu but that does not matter. Whatever the amazing chef prepares for you will be good. The food was out of this world and the panna cotta took me right to heaven. The desert is all made by the chef herself and the ingridients - where possible - all home grown. If you are looking for traditional and pure Italian food this is the place. A dream you don't want to wake up from. As a cherry on top the little mountain town you have to visit to come here is beautiful to say the least. The owner and chef is a lovely lady.
