1. Staff is rude, doesn’t hesitate to serve you galddly, just drops knives and forks on the table. 2. The food is absolute dissaster. It looks good, but the taste is not worth the price at all. I’m attaching a photo of 15€ snack which included just 8 sardines. 3. They tried to scam us with lovely chat and saying the price “as for friend” withiut giving or showing originally receipt. 4. There is a 6€ cost per person for just sitting. It’s truly an awful place, only for tourists to scam. Have no clue how did they got such a high rating.

We went here because of the reviews and how local and traditional it was, but the food didn’t live up to the expectations. We ordered a seafood pasta, and I specifically asked if the seafood was fresh on that day, to which the waiter replied it was. I ended up receiving a pasta dish with frozen seafood, definitely not worth 18€. The owner was lovely and even offered us fruit at the end, but I wouldn’t recommend the food here.

Lovely authentic restaurant in the heart of Ravello. The staff is really kind and helpful woth recommendations. The restaurant is run by an Italian family whose family has had the restaurant for generations. You will recognise the sweet grandma right away. We had spaghetti with clams wich was well seasoned and fresh. The steak was cooked well and came with a side of traditional tuna, tomato and potato dish. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay away from tourist traps in Ravello.

Very nice service and the owner was adorable. However, the food was a solid 4 out of 5. Dishes here in general are much saltier than at other nearby restaurants, and the calamari I ordered was near inedible. My fiancée enjoyed her Margherita pizza but the mozzarella cheese was shredded as opposed to freshly sliced. They serve a bruschetta on bread, zucchini salad, and tiramisu + watermelon dessert for free, which I thought was a nice touch. Others described this place as mostly offering comfort foods and I think that is very accurate.

Thought this was typical home style Italian cooking. Very good service and old school Italian charm. Charcuterie and pasta dishes were both very good.

Came here about a week ago and had the best service of all of our time in Italy - it was like going to your Italian grandmother’s house. The food was great and generously portioned, and they are happy to recommend and make platters of antipasti and pasta for your whole family. Everyone really spent a lot of effort making sure we were happy and giving us great recommendations. You really felt like family! Try the mix of pastas if you can’t decide and the antipasti platter is a great combination too.

I would like to give this restaurant 6 stars out of 5! My wife, daughter, and I ate a late lunch here that was one of our best memories of Italy, as well as any Italian restaurant anywhere in the world. Excellent service, food, and wine.... we left with our stomachs and hearts full. My wife loves Italian food very much, and enjoyed the delicious tasting of 5 pastas including 2 that were stuffed. I eagerly ate the rabbit plus several other pastas including an arrabiata that was cooked so well, I would like to go back already. My daughter, who is not a good eater, was relentless with her fettuccine Bolognese (she had help from me, of course). The tiramisu was unbelievably good, with the ladyfingers cake somehow so moist and tasty with almond liqueur that it should fall apart, but no, the dish holds together beautifully. Allow yourself the opportunity to go to beautiful Ravello and enjoy what this family has to offer you. Don't say no to anything. I ordered a lovely white wine, a Costa D'Amalfi, when normally I would never order a vino bianco. All of this is thanks to the recommendation of our dear tour operator, Francesco del Pizzo; we sipped a delicious local wine while revelling (see what I did there?) in a wonderful experience of a truly great meal at this trattoria. Hopefully you as a reader will do the same for yourself and your family.

The food was amazing and honestly the best cannelloni I ever had. It was cooked perfectly and the meat was so soft, it practically melted in your mouth. My girlfriend had the fettuccine with bolognese (although a bit salty but nevertheless great) and the meat had such in depth flavour. The Italian grandma was very kind to us and gave us an orange after the bill and even offered to give me 2 cakes which I politely declined. Honestly I would give this restaurant a try if you are in Ravello.
