★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inside an old building, the restaurant is one of the oldest ones in town creating a unique experience with great taste. Definitely recommend the ‘pear risotto’. Only recommendation is to expand the vegetarian friendly options in the menu as it is heavily meat/fish based. For vegans out there; not yet an option in the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant! Unfortunately, we discovered it only two days before the end of our vacation, but it made huge impressions so that we ate there two days in a row. Excelent food and wine and a nice ambiente to stay for hours. The host was very friendly and courteous.
I can highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We first visited in October 2020 and were the only customers due to Covid restrictions. Luckily we were able to return and stopped for lunch. It was so good we made a booking for dinner the same evening.
The owner is charming, kind and courteous. He really looks after you well without being too overbearing. The mark of a skilled host.
The food is absolutely delicious. Local food done properly. Try the polenta Uncia ;-)
Next time we are in Como, we will stop for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was fast and overall OK, but unfortunately the food was quite bad.
The Rissoto with fish was tasteless, with 4 small pieces of fish and I had to add ketchup for it to have some kind of taste. The pasta with mushrooms was lacking any seasoning as well.
I shared my feedback with the waiter and I hope they will take it into account.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant could be great but there is no way I could know that. The food I ordered was not great for my taste. The issue is their menu is only in Italian, and Google lens makes most things unappetizing. So what I ordered what sounded the best to me. In the mean time I saw other dishes that were being brought out and they looked great. Simple solve for the owner, get someone to translate their menus into few languages English, German maybe French. I am leaving this review so my fellow world travelers beware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and homely and tradition place, lile your old school kopi tiam.
Food is simple, honest and good. Dessert - MUST ORDER the lemon and ginger sorbet topped with vodka. Italian owner is friendly and like a comforting grandfather figure.
