★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely experience at Osteria Cantinafrasca. We dropped in for a drink in the late afternoon, and after a warm welcome from the host (in great English), we came back for dinner. The host told us about the interesting history of local dishes and later welcomed us as regulars. The food was great and the wine selection is too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a great night and I went there 2 nights in a roll. If you speak italian, try to sit right in front of the bar. That is where all the chatting and drinking with the owner going on, and it looked fun.
The place is small so you might want to reserve on Friday or Saturday night. At the dining area, it is decorated with so many wines, you can even buy them home. Great for wine lover.
The food is almost like tapas type, sadly i can not eat cheese, there are a few dishes which i sooooo wanted to try. The owner has special menu on Friday with fish, he makes that usually for his regular customers, and he offers to us as well.
