But it’s definitely worth the wait. Clean and spacious place, right in the city centre. They have vegetarian options as well. Recommended!

Food was fantastic, but service style different to the Italian hospitality and service we have grown used to. Disorganised, with waiters even running around their sprawling outdoor seating area. They squeeze in two seatings in an evening, so the food is served very fast and when the first round of diners are leaving, there is a massive crowd outside waiting to pay (they don’t bring your bill) or have their green pass checked. And all this is supposedly done by the same single lady at the counter. We have no complaints about the food though, which was thoroughly delicious.

Ordered dough balls, a selection of ham and salamis, a selection of tortellinis, the pork shoulder in balsamic reduction with mashed potatoes, spinach on the side, a chocolate panna cotta and an espresso to end. The service was brilliant. One of the best meals of my life. €60 including water and a tip. An absolute bargain. This place is really popular, get here early if you can!
