★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little disappointing as I had high expectations based on reviews. There were a few good dishes such as the tortellini in brodo and saltimbocca. We ordered their speciality dishes like the polpetta and beef fillet which was dry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an experience! The food here is worthy of the reviews, especially the house specialities. We had these specialties plus two zucchini dishes, olive pasta and each dessert, and can recommend them all.
I saw a poor review for the house tagliatelle saying it lacked flavour - pretty sure this was an American, who probably nukes their food with salt and ranch dressing. The tagliatelle was spectacular.
The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere lovely. Will definitely be returning to Bologna and will be booking a spot in Gessatto in advance.
