★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem! If you're in the area, make time to stop by for the warm hospitality, a tasty meal, and the lovely view. They have parking on the main road - look for a sign with the name of the restaurant and call ahead to get the code for the chain "fence"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had one of the best meals we've had here in Italy! Very authentic Italian meal using fresh fish from the lake. From the wine to dessert it was all delicious! The service was phenomenal, extremely friendly & professional. Definitely the best service we've had in Italy. The setting is also beautiful with a view over the lake. If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience (unlike the overpriced & touristy restaurants at Como) make sure you visit Trattoria del Porto! You can drive or catch the bus or the ferry to Careno (the restaurant is literally next to the ferry terminal).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most incredible experience ever!! The staff was so so lovely, food was so great and authentic, outstandingly welcoming atmosphere in this little family owned business. Perfectly located in a little beautiful old town with stunning views.
The staff helped us to get back home safely and made us feel great in every way possible! Couldn’t recommend more.
