★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TL;DR get spaghetti carbonara w asparagus. Charming cozy place that seemed more local than tourist. Seating for about 50 people across two jammed floors so make a reservation on TheFork a day ahead of time to save your spot. You'll be glad you did. We started with the super fresh Zucchini Tartare (just spiralized) with the right balance of olives and cherry tomatoes under Burrata cheese. I could do this at home. One of the daily specials was an eggplant/aubergine parmigiana--this might convert an eggplant hater to the true faith of eggplant worship. This is not something I could copy without kidnapping the town's favorite Italian grandma. My tagliatelle with funghi (mushrooms) was a nice dish and the macchierocini w guanciale (pig cheeks-think bacon) + peas and fava beans was super tasty across the table. The big winner was the Spaghetti Carbonara--super rich egg taste and the asparagus infused every bite regardless if your fork caught a spear. Tiramisu at the end was the rich creamy pudding in a dish w cookies at the bottom rather than the American cake version.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having only visited Bologna twice I don't think I would have found this restaurant without my cousin's recommendation as he is a local, I am glad he informed me! Our group ordered the lasagna, cotoletta alla bolognese, gramigna con culatello é crema di parmigiano and tortelloni con spinaci. All four meals were completely delicious and paired with the house wine made for a wonderful lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to get into another restaurant the blogs have raved about but was booked for 3 straight days so stumbled upon this place. Food was amazing best meal in Italy. Service was great as well. Asked for recommendations and they delivered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious Italian food. All the pasta is freshly made and it is “pasta all’uovo”, using egg in the dough. The tagliatelle alla bolognese are definetely a must... at my second visit I tried the tagliolini with rabbit ragout, with green peas and asparagus. Staff is friendly and they take good care of u. I found it by accident, but I will come again for the third time soon ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A superb trattoria! Classic local menu and food. Charming owners and staff. Not too expensive. You are treated like a family. Just sit down and relax, eat and drink and enjoy being in this majestic ancient town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is nice and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Among the dish ordered I got a Fiorentina (t bone). The waiter /owner told me he would have showed me the piece of meat and told me the price (but never happened). After getting starters and first course we got the T-bone (delicious). Paying the bill they charged me 90 euro for a tbone that was 700-800g. So, good food but watch out for scams!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and cozy restaurant, with good prices and not-so-good service. We did not eat much: all pasta was nice, but desserts were not-so-good. And charging €3 extra per person (“Coperti”) is indeed exaggerated. But all in all it’s a nice place, also for locals.

I really liked the wine, the starters, the lasagna, and the cotoletta bolognese.
The tagliatelle ragù was dry and disappointing.
Service was great, the waiters were super nice and accommodating and spoiled us with some goodies at the end.
