★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a special meal with a grrat atmosphere, of high quality with friendly service, then I cannot recommend a place any more than Swine Food. I can only assume he is the manager or owner, but one gentleman guided us through the menu explaining the different pastas and their significance and then did the same for the Chinese couple sitting one table down and then again for another couple (I am assuming they were European). To afford such time to us "tourists" was delightful to see.
On top of that the waitress there was kind enough to make a list of things we should see while we were in Bologna. It was quite a big list and was clearly going above and beyobd what is expected of her.
The food was good, the presentation was fantastic. The tagliatelle with shrimp was AMAZING.
Thr missus and I were very impressed.
