I formaggi molto vari e di qualità, così come i salumi. Birre in accompagnamento. Il conto un po' salato perché formaggi e salumi per 4 € 110 mi sembra un po' troppo Little visible place because a door right on a curve. Arredamento e ambiente davvero di mio gusto, cibo molto buono con porzioni normali. Consigliatissimi i formaggini, le confetture fatte in casa e la selezione di primi (i secondi non li ho assaggiati ma vedrò di rimediare al prossimo giro). Essendo il pranzo della domenica, il locale era abbastanza affollato, ma tutto sommato non abbiamo sofferto per nulla del caos, anzi, le ordinazioni sono arrivate precise e veloci. Attenzione per chi venisse in automobile alle limitazioni al traffico durante i giorni festivi e soprattutto all'assenza di parcheggi gratuiti in paese. I came here on the recommendation of a friend. The place looks like a typical restaurant of small hill towns. Really tasteful decor and setting, very good food with normal portions. The cheeses, homemade jams and the selection of first courses are highly recommended (I haven't tasted the second courses but I'll try to make up for it in the next round). Being Sunday lunch, the place was quite crowded, but all in all we did not suffer from the chaos at all, on the contrary, the orders arrived precise and fast. Attention for those who come by car to traffic restrictions during holidays and above all to the absence of free parking in the village.

Il locale è storico e Montevecchia e vale tutto il viaggio per andarci perché qui ci si immerge in un’atmosfera di altri tempi, quelle belle antiche e sane in famiglia. La sala interna è molto bella, storica, col pavimento originale in legno e un bel camino su cui campeggiano dei bellissimi tegami in rame. La sala esterna affaccia sul panorama ed è ampia e ben riscaldata anche in inverno. Il servizio è cordiale e veloce e i prezzi ottimi, considerando la qualità delle materie prime. I piatti sono quelli della tradizione Brianzola, gustosi, ben cucinati e porzioni giuste. Ottima la zuppa di cipolle, i ravioli di brasato alla boscaiola, la carne accompagnata da un'ottima polenta e i dolci caserecci. La presentazione dei piatti è semplice, così come la cura della tavola, ma in linea con lo stile della trattoria. Animali ammessi. Consigliata anche per famiglie con bimbi piccoli.
