★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small trattoria only has 7 or 8 tables outside. Just outside the busy tourist area you sit on a lovely square with view on the opposing hill. This family run restaurant has a small menu, specialty fish, but everything is prepared freshly. The portions are generous and the price is correct. Had the best vegetable contorno there ever

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived for lunch and were seated outside (couple) - there was no option for inside (it was cold and drizzled a bit!!!). Eventually we were seated and our order was taken (the waiter had to set up a table and was a bit upset when we didn't want to sit where he placed the table and we explained that the wind was cold (May 2019), but we were told we could only have pizza, pizza only, nothing else. I had soooo looked forward to fish sob sob. The elderly gentleman who served us seemed quite anxious - there was another table of 4 waiting for their order. We had to ask a few times for our drinks and were given the traditional bread with it and then we waited and waited. No fish.........

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a lovely meal. Small family run place very friendly very reasonable price lovely food. I had a sword fish steak cooked in I think lemon and mint but with the house white was delicious. Strongly recommend excellent home cooked Sicilian cuisine fantastic value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This may have started out as a good mom and pop’s restaurant… unfortunately it has become somewhat of a tourist trap. I was served cold and overcooked pasta. They heat up the whole thing in a microwave like a TV dinner. The “daughter” who was serving me was rude and impatient. I feel like it could have been a better experience if the dad was serving me; but the next generation just took granted for what was built by their parents. Sad.
