★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem! Found this place on a wet Wednesday afternoon and were royally treated to a feast. Il Padrone urged us towards some grilled veal which also came with lamb assuring us it was all local and good.
We asked about antipasti and he cautioned us the mains would be sufficient and boy was he not wrong!
I should at this point issue a warning to all vegetarians and vegans to click away now!
Enormous platters arrived groaning with succulent lamb cutlets and the tenderest veal all beautifully grilled and as tender as could be.
If you like your meat this place is not to be missed! I’m sure the pizzas are very fine also but for us this was a true carnevale!!!
Fabulous lunch, superb service and great value too!

WARNING: check your bill- they tried to add an extra 10 euros to our bill - potentially a tourist trap. When found they removed the cost- just be careful.
