★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just wonderful food, tremendous flavours, authentic trattoria, breathtaking scenery, what more can I say! Host super welcoming, gave us tasting of the vulcano wines so we could choose which to have. We had fresh fish with melanzane and parmigiana - wonderful flavours. He brought complimentary antipasti of local cheese with incredible tangerine compote. Best restaurant on the island.

We (5 adults) choose fish as main course and each one of us had a dish of different types of pasta. The food was good but we were wondering about the fish which was priced as 6 euros / hg which also could be read as kg.
When the bill came the 1.5 kg fish cost us 90 euros. Together with the other dishes the bill came to 210 euros.
During our 3 weeks holiday in Sicily we never spent this much on a meal in a restaurant. WHAT A RIPOFF.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the view and the food was good, there is a problem with pricing/size: we paid 25€ for Spaghetti Vongole which is quite high for a Trattoria in Sicily. The thing is that the portion size is extremely big, it can easily feed 2 people or even 3. Since it was nowhere mentioned, we ended up ordering two Primi but only eating half of the dishes (I am 2m / 90kg and I could never eat that much), wasting a lot of money and food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best place I ‘ve ever tried in my life because of the delicious way they were able to cook the super fresh fish. I think I wanted to cry while I was tasting every single variety of antipasti, and the final pesce al sala was outstanding! I would give 100 out of 10! Really I am dreaming to come back to this island only to taste again such terrific food!
