We got in for lunch at 12.10 and there were plenty of empty seats. After we were seated the waiter explained to us the options for first course and it came almost instantly. It was tasty and we got to pick the second course, which again came quite fast. The rabbit meat was tasty, but the chicken breast was burnt and bitter. From there, the whole experience went south. The restaurant was filling up by then and we waited for 30 to 40 minutes after finishing the second course and waiters kept ignoring our table where the only item left to be served was the caffΓ©. Disappointed, we walked up to the bar, paid and left.

We went there for Lunch, soon as it opened, so we got a table pretty quick, the waiter explained us on what was served for first and second course in good English. Food was served quickly, but as it got close to 1pm, people started coming in and we were left to wait for coffee for 45mins, then finally we got fed up and walked to pay, that's when another waitress asked if we need coffee and served us at the bar. The food was ok, you get a first course(pasta), second course(meat), wine/water and coffee for €17.

My favorite meal on the trip. No frills. No menu. Just sit down, they'll tell you what they're cooking today, then pick and enjoy. Don't expect anything fancy. But expect amazing homemade cooking.

Fantastic antipasti sufficient for a meal. V good fish lasagne. Then fried seafood. We had the whole 40 eur menu incl wine and dessert, worth every cent. But too much food..

Its difficult to get reservations to this gem of a restaurant. It was a pre fix menus which i enjoyed but the food wasnt out of this world. I guess i had my expectations after traveling to other locations around italy. The seafood tasted fresh and they had some unique dishes.

Our hotel manager recommended Trattoria da’a Marisa and it was an incredible find! At 12:00 it was empty. By 12:20 the tables were full and a few people were waiting. Meanwhile, the place next store was near empty. It’s always a good sign to follow the local lunch crowd. The menu is always a daily menu so you choose from the items they have. We went with the octopus spaghetti for a 1st. It was excellent, with a light red sauce. As a second, I chose the pork chop. It was so good that I nearly finished it before taking a photo! Served with cauliflower, potato and roasted onion. Phenomenal. My wife had tuna and polenta for the second. Also excellent but not quite up to the grilled pork. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path but it’s still quite busy. Arrive early or late if the rush.
