★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're traveling from outside of Europe, do not eat here. After walking 20 minutes here, the manager refused me a table because I was an American traveler with a Covid Vaccination Card, not the Eurpean one. I had been traveling Europe and Asia using this card, and this place is the first place that rejected me. Their intolerance to understand that there are countries that have vaccinations besides Europe gets a 1 star review from me. To the owners, show tolerance of foreign travelers that show proof of vaccination from their home country and not rudely dismiss them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We turned up there without booking and without a mask we didn't expect to go for food, even though the welcoming was great from the lady at the entrance. Really enjoyed the antipasto sharing platter was different than what we usually have. My pasta for the main course was just freshly made and delicious and my husband enjoyed his steak. I've ordered a side salad but couldn't eat it as gone sick with my pregnancy hormones and they were nice enough to take it out from the bill. Adding to all the great food, the service was just excellent so I totally recommend the place if you are in Palermo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the best pasta with sardine and pasta alla Norma in this restaurant during our 9 days trip. Didn’t have much expectations but it blew our mind. The owner and waitress lady were also very attentive. The smoked octopus is also the BEST we tried in Sicily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at in Italy! We were in Palermo for a month and tried a few restaurants; nothing comes close to Trattoria Carpaccio for an authentic Italian experience.
The staff was warm, and welcoming, and our waitress made great recommendations.
From starters to desserts, everything was delicious and each course was better than the last one. The pasta plates we got were all very good, and well seasoned. As for the second course/main course, I rarely eat sea food but I tried their fish fillet and it really wow’ed me: one of the most tender fish I’ve had!
They also have an impressive wine selection, along with house wine. The place was packed with locals, which usually says a lot about the quality of the food :)
All in all, this is a MUST if you’re in Palermo and we’ll definitely try to go back once more before we leave.
