★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine kleine aber feine Stadt in Venetien. Sie wird nicht umsonst klein Venedig genannt. Man kann am kleinen malerischen Kanal entlang schlendern, die Architektur ist atemberaubend und der ganze Spaß (Hotels, Essen etc.) ist noch bezahlbar im Gegensatz zum nahegelegenen Venedig.
Venedig erreicht man übrigens unter anderem mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Boot & Bus) vom Hafen in Chioggia in ca. 2 Stunden. Das Ganze kostet für ein 24h Ticket pro Person 20€ (Stand November 2019) und man ist berechtigt selbst in Venedig die Boote des Public Transport zu nutzen. Man fährt mit dem Boot auf die Landzunge Pellestrina, von dort geht es mit Bussen weiter bis zum Hafen. Dort fährt der Bus auf eine Fähre um danach den Hafen in Lido anzusteuern. Von dort geht es mit dem Boot (z.B. Linie 1) hinüber in die Lagunenstadt Venedig.
 A small but beautiful city in Veneto. It is not called small Venice for nothing. You can stroll along the small picturesque canal, the architecture is breathtaking and all the fun (hotels, food etc.) is still affordable compared to the nearby Venice.
By the way, you can reach Venice by public transport (boat & bus) from the port in Chioggia in about 2 hours. The whole costs for a 24h ticket per person 20 € (as of November 2019) and you are entitled to use even in Venice the boats of public transport. You go by boat to the headland Pellestrina, from there it goes by bus to the port. There, the bus goes on a ferry to then head for the port in Lido. From there, take the boat (for example line 1) over to the lagoon city of Venice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa graziosa cittadina veneziana si trova a ridosso del mare attraversata da canali e ponti ed è davvero bella e suggestiva. A Chioggia, d'estate, fa molto caldo, ma merita comunque di essere visitata...gustatevi anche qualche buon piatto di pesce locale magari con un delizioso bicchiere di vino.
This pretty Venetian town is located close to the sea crossed by canals and bridges and is truly beautiful and evocative. In Chioggia, in summer, it is very hot, but it still deserves to be visited ... also enjoy some good local fish dishes, perhaps with a delicious glass of wine.
