★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best view over town, because you can also see Guinigi tower frome here. Short steep climb to the top. Tickets can be bought online (dificult process) or at Guinigi tower (cash only!). 10 visitors per 30 minutes because of Covid 19, greenpass needed and will be checked by scanning.

Wonderful panorama view to all Lucca
Be carefully on the top of the tower when bells suddenly are starting ringing every 15 minutes!
Visit tower costs EUR 4 or EUR 6 in combination with Torre Guinigi (June 2018).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from the tower is breath taking and there is a lot of space up there to sit or stand and to look at the city from different point of views. The staircase is in wood and makes the tower very charming and original. I highly recommend, much more than the tower that has a « garden » on top.

Take away everything contemporary from the landscape and you’re back in the Middle Ages! And that alone should give you an idea of the kind of architectural accomplishment of building such a tall structure in those times. A must-see.
