Posto poco sopra l’abitato di Colico si raggiunge comodamente con diversi sentieri immersi nei boschi di castagno. Tappa ideale x poi fare un picnic con vista panoramica della zona dell’alto lago di Como. Da segnalare la presenza di una fontana sempre funzionante anche in pieno inverno è un paio di tavoli con sgabelli in legno x sedersi Small group of medieval houses at the top of which stands the beautiful tower, recently restored and equipped with an access staircase. Located just above the town of Colico, it can be easily reached with various paths immersed in the chestnut woods. An ideal stop for a picnic with a panoramic view of the upper Lake Como area. P	Patrizio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Davvero bello, lo consiglio! La strada per arrivarci non è difficile e il biglietto costa 3€ un adulto e 2€ un bambino, però merita perché la vista è stupenda!!! Dentro c'è un "museo" ricco di pannelli informativi.. Really nice, I recommend it! The road to get there is not difficult and the ticket costs € 3 an adult and € 2 a child, but it deserves it because the view is wonderful !!! Inside there is a "museum" full of information panels ..

Costruita in epoca medioevale,probabilmente su insediamenti preesistenti,per difendere il passaggio verso la Valtellina, è stata recentemente restaurata e aperta al pubblico in alcuni giorni. Il punto di forza del sito è la vista che si gode di tutto l'alto lago e del Legnone. Raggiungibile solo a piedi con una breve salita ,se si è in zona merita la passeggiata A knoll above Colico, at the foot of Mount Legnone, is the place where the tower stands with the remains of buildings for the garrison around it. Built in medieval times, probably on pre-existing settlements, to defend the passage towards the Valtellina, it has recently been restored and opened to the public in a few days. The strong point of the site is the view that can be enjoyed across the upper lake and Legnone. Reachable only on foot with a short climb, if you are in the area it is worth the walk

A	Alun Nichol on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting short (~20 mins) hike up the hill to get to the tower. The tower itself is nothing special, but it has some great views out over the lake and the surrounding area. Parked up at the side of the road near the Robustello restaurant, which didn't seem to be an issue.
B	Big “Big Matze” Matze on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little hiking tour. Going up through the forested hills the route is very charming. The ruins are especially nice to look at and the vista point over northern Lago di Como is spectacular. What also makes the place attractive is that it does not have any of the typical tourist attractions: No kiosk, no souvenir shop, no other amenities, just some plain historic site to view and enjoy. That combined with the ascent that is not for the totally unfit makes it a worthwhile destination.
