I	Iunio Marcello Clementi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scoperte per la maggior parte negli scavi ottocenteschi, si tratta di ipogei del IV sec. a.C. che si affacciano su piazzette quadrangolari incassate nel tufo e che sono inseriti in un'area della necropoli riservata alle famiglie gentilizie che dominavano Caere nel periodo dell'alleanza con Roma. Si segnalano in particolare la Tomba dell'Alcova, la Tomba delle Iscrizioni (cosiddetta per le oltre 50 iscrizioni dipinte o incise indicanti i nomi dei defunti), la Tomba del Triclinio, la Tomba dei Sarcofagi (che ha restituito quattro sarcofagi in marmo bianco, di cui tre conservati al Museo di Cerveteri e uno al Museo Gregoriano Etrusco) e la Tomba dei Tamnsie (con due sarcofagi dipinti in marmo bianco, entrambi conservati nel museo locale). Le tombe sono visitabili previo accordo con la Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici dell'Etruria meridionale (+39 06 3226571 - [email protected]) Mostly discovered in the nineteenth-century excavations, these are hypogea of the fourth century. B.C. which overlook quadrangular squares embedded in the tuff and which are inserted in an area of the necropolis reserved for the noble families who dominated Caere during the period of the alliance with Rome. Tra le tombe più importanti:tomba dell alcova, della nave, delle iscrizioni. Luogo suggestivo , visita gratuita. L'interno delle tombe del Comune propriamente dette si visita solo su prenotazione. It is a group of underground tombs that developed on a plateau between two parallel avenues of tufaceklungo counters which open up many tombs. Among the most important tombs: the tomb of the alcove, of the ship, of the inscriptions. Evocative place, free visit. The inside of the tombs of the Municipality proper can be visited by appointment only.

Ces tombes, parfois très grandes, sont d'un intérêt certain. Elles sont fermées et ne se visitent pas, contrairement à de nombreuses tombes du parc archéologique dont l'intérieur est accessible. Des sentiers ont été aménagés pour faciliter la visite et c'est toujours avec un sentiment de nostalgie que l'on se promène entre ces vestiges d'un passé si lointain, souvenirs des femmes et des hommes qui vivaient en ces temps là. Many Etruscan tombs in the necropolis of Cerveteri are located outside the fenced enclosure of the archaeological park (and to which access is chargeable, but at a very reasonable price). These tombs, sometimes very large, are of certain interest. They are closed and cannot be visited, unlike many tombs in the archaeological park, the interior of which is accessible.
