Le tombe a dado o a cubo sono delle tombe a camera tipiche delle necropoli rupestri, inserite all'interno di un blocco di roccia scavato nel tufo oppure costruite ex-novo. In quest'ultimo caso costituiva una vera e propria tomba a dado perché la struttura era isolata su tutti e quattro i lati. Quando invece il parallelepipedo è isolato solamente sui tre lati della parete rocciosa vengono denominate a "semidado". (Fonte Wikipedia)

In the latter case it constituted a veritable nut tomb because the structure was isolated on all four sides.
