Leggo che questa, tomba è una delle più importanti dello scavo etrusco di Vetulonia ma è in stato di quasi completo abbandono:cartelli esplicativi vecchi, coperti dalla vegetazione o rovinati e agli agenti atmosferici. La tomba sorge su una collina artificiale con l'erba non tagliata. In generale anche tutto il sito è sporco e non curato. Questo è il modo in cui la soprindentenza si prende cura di luoghi così preziosi. Sin! I read that this tomb is one of the most important of the Etruscan excavation of Vetulonia but is in a state of almost complete abandonment: old explanatory signs, covered by vegetation or ruined and weathered. The tomb stands on an artificial hill with uncut grass. In general, the whole site is also dirty and untreated. This is how superindentence takes care of such precious places.

Quando siamo stati noi eravamo da soli ma non è stato certo un problema. Nota di colore, nella tomba abbiamo avuto l'incontro ravvicinato con un piccolo pipistrello. Consiglio una visita in solitario, per meglio immedesimarvi negli antichi costruttori nostri avi. Leggere e informarsi è un obbligo da svolgere solo dopo la visita, un po' come certe opere pittoriche la cui descrizione ne sminuisce la forza evocativa. Sappiate solo che ogni pietra è stata lavorata, sbozzata e spostata da un etrusco, soffermatevi solo su una di esse, quindi toccatela. Con il giusto silenzio entrerete in contatto con l'uomo che su quella pietra ha agito, con la giusta atmosfera potete sentirvi parte di quel meraviglioso e sconosciuto popolo. È un bel viaggio nel nostro io ancestrale! The tomb exudes charm, the central obelisk has the flavor of pagan rites. I recommend a visit alone, to better identify with the ancient builders of our ancestors. Reading and informing oneself is an obligation to be carried out only after the visit, a bit like certain paintings whose description diminishes their evocative power. Just know that each stone was worked, hewn and moved by an Etruscan, dwell on only one of them, then touch it. With the right silence you will come into contact with the man who acted on that stone, with the right atmosphere you can feel part of that wonderful and unknown people. It is a beautiful journey into our ancestral selves!
