★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beds were supper comfortable. They are a little far from the center of rome but the are only 2-5 minutes walking from a metro train station. We were still happy with the hotel. Restaurants around were amazing too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel was basic, but clean and friendly. There was no spa bath in our room and it said all rooms had one, but we did have a nice balcony. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The only reason I have rated it 4* and not 5, is because it didn't have an onsite restaurant x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: Near the subway. Lots of shopping nearby, clothes and food, overall it’s a decent location. Breakfast was good, better than other 3* hotels, and the reception staff was very kind and extremely helpful.
Cons: Room was very dirty. Dust has not been cleaned since the romans started to build the Colosseum, and there was a bad smell inside. The shower cap was so full of residues that water barely came through. Cleaning staff should definitely be fired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is a great reasonably priced place to stay if you just need a room to stay in. The staff was very nice. There was a city tax of 4€ per person. Your wife will not like the place. I approve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On arrival the reception team were amenable, attentive and gave me all the necessary information. The room was adequate if not a bit cramped. My one issue was that there was only 2 points I could find in the room. I really enjoyed the breakfast with more than ample choice. Overall a nice stay and I would recommend the Strand Hotel as a quality stay.
