β β β β β Great location but...
We were greeted by the cleaner who took us into our unclean apartment. There were still towels on the ground from previous visitors. We have now been staying here for 4 days and our apartment hasn't been cleaned once! when i return to Rome, its not a place i ll be staying at again. Sorry

β β β β β Location is fantastic, especially if you're interested in the trendy Trastevere nightlife. The apartment itself was a good size but a little disjointed to navigate. Details cost the points: The shower was not great and there wasn't enough soap provided, and the television signal was poor. The host was communicative.

β β β β β Stayed here for 4 days in June 2016. Excellent location for all the sites around Rome. My tip is to take the tram and bus nearby to get around town. Great restaurants in the area.
Apartment was excellent for our family of two adults and two children. The only issue we had was with the gas hob where the main burner didn't work. Apart from that the rooms were fine and the air con was a godsend coming home from outside.

β β β β β A good sized apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was great for our family of 4. The location was good to and walking distance to many sites and easy to reach by bus. The amenities were very bare bones, e.g. no coffee machine, only instant coffee. In general the property is a little dated. There's a slight dingy smell, even though cleanliness was good. Our stay was quite affordable so if you're looking for location, size and bargain then this is a good value.
Note: we visited in Feb, 2020

β β β β β This apartment building is the best kept secret in Rome. The location, hospitatlity and comfort at La Gensola Apartments is as close to living in the Eternal City as you can get - even for a short stay. We rented the entire building for our post-vaccine family reunion. Major points of interest are all within a max 30 minute walk from the apartment, most everything else is much closer. Trastevere boasts some of the best eateries in town and we dined al fresco morning, noon and night. The host, Lorenzo Cicinelli is a delight to work with, has excellent English and arranged multiple transports to and from the airport and Termini and to the Appia Antica. The apartment has everything you need including a kitchentte with washing machine; there is a Moka Express pot in the room to make coffee the Italian way, although coffee bars with delicious pastries abound. If you need any extras, they can be found at any Carfour Express.
