If it says the cottage sleeps 4, than assume they mean 2 adults and 2 children. It was a serviceable place to stay, and I can see how it would be much more fun in the summer and we visited in the spring. Tip: Bring your own toilet paper.

Great stay here in August 2017. Kids loved the pool, the playground, crazy golf and mini disco. Staff are nice and friendly. Accommodation was small and basic but was nice and clean and well maintained. Happy to return

We booked 4 nights at Garda Village on top of our 2 week holiday at another location. We were glad it were just 4 nights. Very old and dirty apartment. The toilet seat was broken, things a cleaner should have noticed. The bathroom fan made such a noise you did not want to turn on the light. The shower gave water but that was all that was working as long as you do not touch the tap. The mold was horrendous. Beds very hard, reading light not working. What was considered dangerous was that the switchboard cover was just missing. I told my little one not to come near. Then you need to wear a bath cap on the pool and the water at their beach is a mud pool. Long short, never again.

Had to clean some massive spider nests from the windows upon arrival, but aside from this it was clean and comfy. The beach is nice, the food was surprisingly good, and the hipermarket is in walking distance too. Although i was kinda surprised they're still using WiFi as a money-grab. If you want to have internet access, you'll end up paying relativly high price for terrible quality.

Lovely place.Bilo bungalows have good facilities. Double bed with couch that changes to bunk bed in kitchen. Kitchen has two ring hob, fridge & microwave. We used the pool, pool restaurant, lake bar & lake restaurant. Food and staff were good in all places. Our only negative was that you would need a car. The bus stops are a fair walk away. There is a free shuttle bus to the Water park Caneva which we did use & can get at the gate entrance.

The Garda Village is a big park with a lot of mobile homes that are cramped in a tight space. Note that this differs a little bit on where you are on the park. There is not a lot of green and unfortunately there is only one play-garden. This makes me to believe that this park is more suitable for family's with children that can move around independently around the park. Our children (6 and 2) are not independent and playing around the mobile home is not that fun since there is not a lot of green or grass around the mobile homes. I want to stress that this might be more personal but we expected more of a "camping vibe" but this is more of a park with mobile homes and apartments which are build without a lot of space, grass or green. (again; it depends a bit of where you are on the park). Animation is great. Unfortunately no Dutch so my children were not interested at all. In the evening there is some disco and dance for children but that starts at 20:45. Probably normal in Italy but it's too late for our children. The pool is great! It has three areas and they have events that you can attend within the pool (like aqua cycling). Facilities are also great. Sure; the park supermarket is way too expensive but it does the job if you quickly need something. The restaurant where they serve pizza's is also great. Would definitely recommend that place since the view of Garda is breath taking with the setting sun. We stayed in a mobile home which was outdated. I wouldn't say it was dirty but the chairs and table outside had cracks and sigaret burns. Inside the fridge the racks in the door were broken which made if difficult to store bottles and also the cooking pitt was not working. After reporting these things they fixed the cooking pitt but they left the fridge untouched. Brings me to the final point: Garda itself. It's very crowded in the area where we stayed. Too crowded for our taste. We tried to visit the castle at Sirmione three times and two times we were send away by police since it was too busy. Concluding: It's a great park if you like big holiday parks. They have enough stuff to do for children and also for adults. The area is very touristy and the park itself has little to no green (expect the area between the restaurants and the lake itself.

At 160 EUR per night I was not expecting to have to bring my own sheets for the bed, towels and even toilet paper (only one roll provided for free). Too expensive for a tiny, noisy mobile home where you have to bring your own things (or pay extra to rent/buy everything you need.. sheets, towels, soap, toilet paper...) With thin walls noise can be a problem if you have noise neighbors or are close to the road but the biggest noise problem is that you get continuously awaken because the roof is made of metal and when it rains there is a loud drumming of the rain drops (in our case also when it was not raining the branches of a tree were hitting the metal roof when there was wind making a lot of noise... and the birds walking on the roof also make a lot of noise)... big problem. Accommodation was reduced to the very minimum size making it difficult to move around comfortably and hot water was a bit random requiring contstant adjustments when showering. We got a lot of mosquito bites so be aware of this and buy insect repelent. It has a little beach on the lake but unfortunately it has a muddy bottom and the water is muddy (not dirty) on that shore which is a pity because it looks as if it's dirty (again, it's not dirty, it's just mud) and it's not as nice as other areas of the lake. On the good side, two things to highlight: Clean and the entertainment for kids. The accommodation was very clean when we arrived (although note that there is no cleaning while you are there... unless you stay two weeks in which case they will come once after your first week) The facilities are well kept and very clean too. Kids had a great time, playing in the park, swimming pool or beach and specially thanks to the animation program that they have in summer. The animation team did a great job making sure kids have a great time. At a price point of 160EUR per night there are better options. But if you get it at a cheap price it's a good place for the kids to have a good time (although accommodation is not very comfortable for adults).

We had a very nice stay (8 days). The bungalow was a little bit smaller than we thought it would be. The animation team was also very kind, the kids party started to late for us (8:30 pm). The 3 swimming pools are good and clean. The village is very good located if you want to go and see other beautiful places or just shop. Big supermarket is 2 min drive.
