The Fountain Pen Milan

If you like fountain pens and writing instruments this is a wonderful place to visit. It is best if you know the make model of the pen you are looking for, as most of the stock is behind glass cases and in the original boxes. The selection is just mind blowing

I wanted to upgrade so to speak and add an actual exquisite fountain pen other than a Pilot Metropolitan to my collection for my birthday. Upon my search for a specific pen I found La Stilografica Milano. I initially had no intention of purchasing from overseas (I'm in the States) but when I found this lovely shop (just read their story and look at the pictures) and the pens I was looking for, I simply couldn't pass reaching out to them for more information. Seeing as there is a time difference I knew there would be a wait, but I was responded to rather quickly (during normal business hours for them). I was greeted by Cristian who was professional, courteous and friendly. Any questions were answered were not without patience or kindness. Through all of our e-mails I could always tell his smiles were genuine. :) Every question was also answered with complete confidence. Cristian even offered to switch nibs for me if I wanted the pen but the nib in a different size. By the time I was ready to put my order through I felt completely confident about my purchase, not to mention excited! :) My pens were shipped very quickly and I had them in hand within a few days. They arrived safely as they were packaged extremely well, I could tell a lot of care went into making sure my pens arrived safely. I've purchased many things online, including from overseas. By far this is my most memorable purchase though. I could imagine being transported to their beautiful shop, and I really wish I could have made my purchase in person. Now every time I use my new pens, I will be reminded of Cristian and his shop. :) Someday in the future (hopefully sooner than later), I will visit Milan and walk into La Stilografica Milano. I just know it will be a wonderful experience. Until then, it looks like e-mails will have to do. :) A wonderful experience all around. Sitting on the fence about ordering from them? Jump off if it, you'll be fine and happy you did. :)

Very kind staff. Showed me the pens patiently. Especially the old man with the glasses. I prefer to buy in store over online, so I went directly to shop. I needed to gift someone a pen. And there it was. I received a call and within 10 minutes, the customized pen got ready! Wow ? Really impressed. Thank you Guys. You all are awesome. ?
