G	Giorgio Scacchi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima Cattedrale e recentemente anche sottoposta a interventi di restauro, visto che prima versava in uno stato pietoso, anche se andrebbe ancora bonificata da interventi di “restauro” invasivi quale i cementoni che sostituiscono le tarsie e i marmi mancanti del pavimento cosmatesco nelle navate laterali. Per non parlare degli ambienti attigui dello stesso complesso in pieno degrado, e delle cretinate appese qui e lì dal parroco all’interno della chiesa. Perché quattro stelle? Semplice... la chiesa sempre chiusa e in una città che vive particolarmente nel periodo estivo tenere un monumento di tale interesse storico artistico spesso e volentieri chiuso è davvero frustrante per chi visita la città, considerando che altre chiese della città a pochi passi dal duomo sono aperte quasi 24h. Ma del resto anche gli abitanti (parrocchiani) lamentano questa profonda noncuranza da parte dei vari parroci che continuano a succedersi al duomo. DAVVERO UN GRANDE PECCATO speriamo che in futuro sia meglio valorizzata e soprattutto aperta con più frequenza. Beautiful Cathedral and recently also subjected to restoration, as it was previously in a pitiful state, even if it should still be reclaimed by invasive "restoration" interventions such as the cement blocks that replace the inlays and the missing marbles of the Cosmatesque floor in the side aisles. Not to mention the adjoining rooms of the same complex in full decay, and the stupid things hung here and there by the parish priest inside the church. Why four stars? Simple ... the church is always closed and in a city that lives particularly in the summer period, keeping a monument of such historical and artistic interest often closed is really frustrating for those visiting the city, considering that other churches in the city are just a few steps from the cathedral they are open almost 24h. But the inhabitants (parishioners) also complain about this profound indifference on the part of the various parish priests who continue to succeed each other at the cathedral. REALLY A BIG SIN we hope that in the future it will be better valued and above all opened more frequently.

Davvero bellissima, con piccola passeggiata lungo le mura castellane. Molto bella e viva la sera, con vari ristoranti e locali tra i vicoli. Unfortunately the square is a construction site but the whole old town is to be discovered and enjoyed. Really beautiful, with a small walk along the castle walls. Very beautiful and lively in the evening, with various restaurants and clubs in the alleys.
