★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pisco Montano è frutto della grande opera pubblica fatta dall'Imperatore Traiano intorno al 53 d.c ..X quel tempo è stata un'opera Faraonica che ha permesso di accorciare i tempi di percorrenza di almeno un giorno..!.. Non abbiamo nei nostri tempi..altri esempi di montagne tagliate a metà il cui pietrisco e massi gettati in mare consentissero di guadagnare spazi x far passare una strada...Pisco Montano è stato il rifugio del Brigante MASTRILLO ....Postazione di confine militare STATO PONTIFICIO Prima dell'avamposto della TORRE dell'EPITAFFIO n ^ civico 1 TERRACINA ...Che delimita i confini tra' Fondi e Terracina. ANCORA Prima la zona sottostante limitrofa è stata usata come luogo dove prendere pietrisco e materiale da Cava.....da qui il nome di via delle CAVE ! Al momento la zona è interessata da un intervento di opera pubblica di messa in SICUREZZA x evitare cadute di possibili massi su abitazioni sottostanti e adiacente via .APPIA P.ertanto è stata delimitata da apposita RECINZIONE. Molto ancora C'è da dire ... Ma motivi di spazio e tempo rinviamo alla prossima recensioni ?OK

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roccia fatta tagliare dall'imperatore Traiano per aprire un passaggio alle truppe romane, bella e singolare da vedere, posta vicino al tempio di Giove e alla spiaggetta e porticciolo di Terracina. Ottima cartolina per foto turistiche di ricordi delle vacanze. Infine sotto di esso si trovano i migliori ristoranti di pesce sul mare. Il che ne fa una location completa e ideale per una tappa obbligatoria per le proprie vacanze.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spettacolare rupe di circa 38 mt di altezza e 296 di larghezza, antistante Monte S Angelo (cosiddetto Monte Giove) e non distante dalla Spiaggia di Levante a Terracina. Fu fatta tagliare ad opera dell'imperatore Traiano per consentire la costruzione della variante della via Appia, il cui antico tracciato passava più in alto, così da renderne più agevole la percorribilità per truppe e trasporto di merci provenienti dai territori conquistati. Un'opera monumentale, il taglio del Pisco Montano, fatta a mano: ancora oggi sono visibili i segni degli scalpelli.
Spectacular cliff about 38 meters high and 296 wide, in front of Monte S Angelo (so-called Monte Giove) and not far from the Levante Beach in Terracina.
