The water is amazing. Facilities are a bit dated but everything is clean. Stuff is quite friendly. Averall recommended to visit.

Out of the way, wonderful, natural springs. We simply loved our day here. Bring a picnic lunch, you can, and you will be happy because the offerings are slim.

Nightmare. The place is old and smells like piss. They exploit the customers making them pay for every single thing (hairdryers, chairs, lockers) aside from 18€ entrance ticket. The staff was rude and the pools full of human hair and excrements. The road is also rough and not safe especially in the night.

Would not like to come back to Terme Acqua Pia again. All dirty and smelly. For a paid price which is hight for such place (15€) you do not get any service, each item like chear or towel is extra price. The place is old and need to be taken care of, be renewed and be cleaned up. Is definitely not for couples.

End of April 2019, we visited thermal bath Acqua Pia for three days. The hotel and restaurant staff was more than kind to us, we felt welcome all the time. We visited Acqua Pia in the off-season, so apparently, we were the only hotel guests. But nonetheless, we were served very accommodating. In the restaurant, breakfasts were very nice, the dinners were excellent! Also, allergies and intolerances were totally considered, thanks a lot again! Accommodations are surely rather simple, and the thermal bath has been getting on in years, but Acqua Pia has an own charm which appealed us during our whole stay. The site is not made for mass tourism but for individual travellers like us. Especially our five years old daughter enjoyed Acqua Pia, and if ever possible, we surely will come back!

I read the recent reviews which are not very good, but i don't quite agree with them. I visited the thermes today with an intention to use hot springs. The pool was closed for renovation so I only paid €10 for the entrance which was not a high price considering I could stay until the closure. Water was pleasantly warm, but not hot. I started 4 hours soaking in the springs, emerging occasionally from waters to feel colder surrounding air ( after all it's still march) to appreciate the warmth of water again. The staff was friendly: didn't try to sell me anything else than the ticket, and have mea tour of what's is available. I found staff very professional there: as i don't speak Italian I was offered English, french of German to communicate. The water smells indeed, but it's normal as these are sulfur waters - they naturally slightly smell like old eggs. The hot water pool must be regularly taken care of: indeed there are occasionally more slimey bits, but they naturally occur in sulfur water pools, and build up over 24 hours in my experience with wild sulfur water pools. There are also brown precipitate"bits" swimming around occasionally, but again these are natural phenomena coming with sulfur waters- I've seen these a few times visiting wild sulfur water springs, often being green or brown. I think this place is OK,and worth a visit. I am taking one star down because I tried to send them an email given on the website to ask whether I could come considering covid times, but I received a bounce back message indicating the email address was not valid. After all, it was nor important as I was the only person in the thermal pool. I also hiked here from Montevago: you can follow paths around the fields outlined by Google as a road. The views are stunning.

2 stars only because it is in the middle of the trees and that's it. Reception told us they would be open until 7pm for hot showers and at 6pm all was closed, only cold showers. Mens toilet dirty, area camper closed, which we were not advised when called earlier.€5 per person at a thermal water pool not well maintained. Employees Place to be avoided.
