S	Siebrand Agter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ peccato. Peccato, perchè se paghi cifre discrete per un bel Valpolicella, tu pensi, e speri, che sia di ottima qualità. Questo "Tèlos", della "Tenuta Sant'Antonio" avrebbe senz'altro meritato 5 stelle (non dubito della bontà di questo vino) , se non che... si è risparmiato sul tappo. Un tappo di sughero, probabilmente anche di una certa qualità (un pezzo di sughero intero, non agglomerati vari...), ma che ha dato un ottimo sapore "di Tappo" a questo bel Valpolicella. Peccato, il vino è andato a finire nel lavandino, semplicemente perchè imbevibile. Di preciso non mi ricordo, ma credo di aver pagato 18 euro, o qualcosa del genere. Sono tanti? sono pochi? mwaah... ne avrei dato volentieri anche 20, pagando, eventualmente di tasca mia un tappo valido. Ma come si fa??? risparmiare sul tappo??? Ovvio che... io dico: pollice verso, evitate di acquistare vino da questa tenuta e consiglio ai produttori di acquistare dei tappi migliori. ??? sin. Too bad, because if you pay decent prices for a nice Valpolicella, you think, and hope, that it is of excellent quality. This "Tèlos", from "Tenuta Sant'Antonio" would certainly have deserved 5 stars (I have no doubt of the goodness of this wine), except that ... it was saved on the cork. A cork, probably also of a certain quality (a whole piece of cork, not various agglomerates ...), but which gave an excellent "Cork" flavor to this beautiful Valpolicella. Too bad, the wine ended up in the sink, simply because it was undrinkable. I don't remember exactly, but I think I paid 18 euros, or something like that. Are so many? They are few? mwaah ... I would have gladly given even 20, paying, possibly from my own pocket, a valid cap. But how is it done ??? save on the cap ??? Obviously ... I say: thumbs down, avoid buying wine from this estate and I advise producers to buy better corks. ???

I vini poi sono eccezionali. Consigliato A few weeks ago I did a tasting at the estate. They were very kind, they managed to convey the passion of what they do. The wines are also exceptional. Recommended

La cantina è “giovane” ma assolutamente all’altezza sia per quanto riguarda la vinificazione sia per quanto riguarda i prodotti. Sono rimasto molto positivamente sorpreso dai vini, sia dagli amaroni (dove è “normale” aspettarsi il meglio) sia da quelli meno conosciuti come la linea “Scaia”. Il personale è molto preparato, motivato e dedito al lavoro; ma non perde il senso di ospitalità e disponibilità, mettendo sempre il cliente è il visitatore al primo posto, fornendo loro un’esperienza completa sia a livello culturale sia a livello sensoriale. Consiglio caldamente i vini, ma ancor di più di conoscere e visitare la cantina e la famiglia Castagnedi. I visited the winery thanks to the possibility of enjoying a guided tour with an adjoining tasting. The cellar is "young" but absolutely up to par both in terms of winemaking and products. I was very positively surprised by the wines, both by the amaroni (where it is “normal” to expect the best) and by the lesser known ones such as the “Scaia” line. The staff is highly trained, motivated and dedicated to work; but does not lose the sense of hospitality and availability, always putting the customer and the visitor first, providing them with a complete experience both on a cultural and sensorial level. I highly recommend the wines, but even more to get to know and visit the winery and the Castagnedi family.

J	John Carey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tenuta S. Antonio is a wonderful family winery situated on top of a steep hill overlooking Val d'Illasi, the easternmost valley of the Valpolicella wine region. Being on the border of the Valpolicella and Suave DOCs TSA is able to produce both outstanding classic Valpolicella reds(Superiore, Ripasso and Amarone) and outstanding Soave whites. They also produce a organic line of both reds and whites that is free of sulfites and amazingly good.. TSA hilltop holdings include both clay and volcanic soils. This, along with the variation in altitude, sun and temperature create many microclimates that allow them to make an amazing variety of wines in a very small area. The testings are varied and generous. The family is friendly and welcoming. It is a throughly wonderful place to enjoy great wine.
