★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se non fosse che per volontà di qualcuno la segnaletica dei sentieri viene mantenuta, anche questo luogo della conca di Oropa lascia ben intendere quanto troppe cose siano lasciate al caso, senza cura, trascurando o sottintendendo il valore che invece avrebbero.
Were it not for the sake of someone the signage of the paths is maintained, even this place of the Oropa basin clearly shows how much too many things are left to chance, without care, neglecting or implying the value they would have instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lungo la strada Rosazza-Oropa, che parte dal santuario della Madonna nera di Oropa, si trova questo rudere che segna il percorso di trekking D13 verso i rifugi Rosazza e Savoia, e la ferrata Nito Staich. La sua costruzione rappresentava un rudere, costruito con materiale derivante dai magazzini e sottotetti del complesso d'Oropa. Lo scopo era quello di cimentarsi nel recupero architettonico dei materiali di scarto. Da qui nacque la piccola strada mulattiera che inizialmente portava alla cappelletta di Fontanamora.
Along the Rosazza-Oropa road, which starts from the sanctuary of the Black Madonna of Oropa, there is this ruin which marks the trekking route D13 towards the Rosazza and Savoia refuges, and the Nito Staich via ferrata. Its construction represented a ruin, built with material deriving from the warehouses and attics of the Oropa complex. The aim was to try their hand at the architectural recovery of waste materials. From here was born the small mule track that initially led to the chapel of Fontanamora.
