Best place ever!! We got married here in May 2018 and the staff are like family to me. They were so kind throughout the entire planning process, professional and incredibly detailed, and just the best at their craft of hospitality. My wedding was magic, thanks to this incredible team at Tenuta Monacelli!

It was a fantastic stay. This place has something surrealistic, between all the olive trees. Beautiful garden, very large swimming pool. For our taste the beds were very firm, we liked them a bit softer but that is a personal preference. Diner is ok but you can better find it somewhere in the lovely places like Lecce or the other surrounding villages.

The first time we met Lucia was in the middle of lockdown during the pandemic when me and my fiance' (at the time) had just moved to Puglia. When we left after perhaps 2 hours of talking, my fiance' said to me "...It's as if Lucia really cares for the couples..." I had the same impression - Lucia spoke so fondly of all the brides and grooms she had hosted in the past. We visited several other venues in Puglia - some very famous on instagram and well-known internationally and while we met some exceptional people, there was no other place that matched the kindness of the Tenuta Monacelli staff.  It was for this reason why we chose Tenuta Monacelli.  We do not consider ourselves the easiest couple to deal with as we didn't make a firm decision about the venue until 2.5 months before the actual wedding. This was due to a number of factors but mostly centering around Covid 19. Our wedding was a dream and Tenuta Monacelli is spectacularly beautiful that photos cannot and will not do this place justice. It is truly a special place - I cannot speak more highly of it. The day of our wedding both Lucia and Giovanni were by our sides making sure we had everything we needed. We were also impressed with Giovanni who executed every moment of our time with incredible professionalism. They made every effort to make our wedding so special! My only critique would be with the room we chose as our bridal suite. When we were checked in the girl who let me into the room didn't show me the balcony. I had to ask her what a door was and she said "Oh the balcony.." but I didn't realize there was a door to two balconies (a roof top and a larger one that I thought was locked). I would have loved to have pictures there when getting ready & was sad about that but it was a small part of an amazing stay. Overall we cannot say thank you enough for everything and for making an already special day - much more than we could ever hope.  I recommend Tenuta Monacelli wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

We had our wedding here and it was the most magical location. Lucia, Giovanni and all staff were so wonderful! We also stayed before just as tourists and it was equally amazing. Highly recommend to visit and take it in this unique place!
