★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place, is well organized for barbeques and getogethers. Lots of space to run play ball and pleasant hikes start from here.
The trattoria is also very good, in all seasons. Staff is very friendly and the food selection is also good. I like everything they make here but especially the Apple almond cake, delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice mountain with forest and chestnuts,very near to Pisa and Lucca, if you want to escape from the city for a few hours. Has even a restaurant that in the summer time is open every day, now at the and of September is open just for the weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little nature retreat. Offers a big flat area for playing sports or laying and having a picnic. A series of shared grilling areas and free wood. A bar for having a coffee, pre-made ice cream or a bite to eat. Vendors from time to time offer horseriding, etc. Can go picking chestnuts for a fee. Temperature drop from Pisa to Santallago was about 5-6 degrees. €10 / car entry fee

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wide yard were u can help yourself with bbq. A typical restaurant and bar is also present. The food is quite good. Reservation is recommended. To be avoided the day after Easter....too crowded.
