M	Mies van Kasteren on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived unannounced on our rented e-bikes and were very welcome. Tasted three wines. They served free bread with fresh capers paste and water. We even got a tour in the cellar. Beautiful. And the wines were great. We bought two bottels.

BUT. if you want attention and service-you must book tours/tasting in advance. otherwise EVEN if there're no guests, but you, still you will be served very slowly. several times you will be told that since you haven't booked in advance, there are no tomatoes chopped for bruschettas ??? but wines are excellent.
S	S B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice view but 10 euros for a 35 minutes visit without tasting is really not acceptable, never seen that anywhere.... The wine is OK but nothing exceptional for the price, for sure you pay for the location! But in Lipari there is a nice view everywhere so....

Our guide was a really pleasant guy and told us everything about the project Tenuta di Castellaro. The wine tasting started with some white wine accompanied by great local cheese and grilled vegetables. Afterwards followed by a selection of red wines and a dessert wine. We had a great time and ordered some of the extraordinary wine for our time back home. I really recommend a visit if you are around on Lipari, you will not be disappointed.
M	Matan Atias on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was one of the worst experiences and biggest waste of money I have experienced. The room did not have aircon and the owner and manager lied saying it does. It was not working and they took no responsibility for it. The room stank really bad and not cleaned properly cleaned. They also failed to tell us the property closes the gate around midnight and trying to get to our 300 euro a night room was no simple task. When called out the owner once again shifted blame. Save your money and stay away from this place. The wine is great but the accommodation is a total shamble. I will not be back and my fiancé and I were really excited to stay here after visiting the wine farm two years ago.

Staff is very competent and super friendly and informative. A trip to the cellar is a must, as it is very beautiful and a great background story. Come at sunset and taste excellent wines with the best views.
