★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Hotel is.located in a very peacefull area. The viess of the Civitavecchia Bay are wonderful..the staff.. Jennifer, Valeria... and a man..i cannot spell his name...but he prepared the meat... drive the car and worked in the reception...was great at everything. Fab customer service. My room was clean...the food was very nice. The waiter perhaps...was a bit to busy..but the food was good....the view amazing. I will recommend this Hotel to anybody that is looking for.some relaxation.. the only issue ..is transportation to and from Civi.. more over you have guests that arrive without a car for which transport is important. Other than that...it is great for the price...rooms are huge!.

Pretty rustic, but I guess that's part of its charm. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset, which makes up for a lot. Cafe doesn't open till late and you nerd to call a cab to get into town. Don't expect a resort. This is really just a place to sleep.
Dinner is very very simple. Fresh and quality food, but simple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is beautiful surrounded by a ranch and and farmland. There are fruit trees with wonderful fruit. We arrived to a beautiful view and sunset. The room appeared to have everything but later when we took a shower the water was barely warm enough to tolerate and the drain in the sink would not drain and smelled stale. The staff apologized but only said that a plumber was coming. We were there three days and we're only able to shower once.
The dining room was next to us and Saturday night noise continued until 130 am with the kitchen cleanup at the end. We did not dine there, but we were told by other guests that it was very good.
Breakfast was ok with a served selection, but we did get hard boiled eggs and our coffee Americano normal and decafinado.
It was late in the season and the price was low. I guess we got what we paid for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dinner for 5, cold cuts platter as starter followed by some wild boar and mixed grilled meat, the thick cut rib steak came sliced with a warm stone plate for you to cook your slices to your liking. It was not hot so didn't fry. We had it changed but same temperature, for me it was no problem as the cut was very tender. Excelent service, recommendations, wines. We came at sunset, spectacular view. Nice rustic, relaxed atmosphere. Great experience

Staff was super nice and arranged everything nicely.
The restaurant is just the best possible. Everything we had was so good (steaks were exceptional).
Thanks to everybody at Tenuta dell'Argento for making this stay so nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent one night here, a stopover whist travelling, the room was clean and comfortable but the breakfast pretty poor only cake or tart no savoury choice at all, I had tea and was given a teabag and hot water, my husband can't eat sweet things so could only eat a prepacked rusk and wasn't even given a plate!!! The resteraunt for dinner however was excellent, great service really good food delicious meat.
The location is great fabulous views and close to Civitavecchia, we were there off season so pool not open but I imagine in the high season it would be great for a break. All in all I liked it just a pity about the breakfast.
